I want to share my personal reflection to respond to the discussion among deaf adults about the ASL interpreter today at the White House that bothered me personally and professionally. I felt it has become politicized. Who should be interpreting in the White House now? I find it unethical and inappropriate conduct in our community to call for judgement that i have to stand up and disagree with some of you educated deaf adults! That is a classic example of elitist’s attitude to be superior to one group because of difference in beliefs and affilitation
