Breakfast sausage casserole


It's delicious!

1 (12oz) package fresh sausage - cooked. Crumbled.
4 cups cubed day - old bread, or toast bread is best to be crumbed.
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 (12 fluid oz) cans nestle evaporated milk or regular milk 10 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon mustard dry
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Ground black pepper to taste

13X9 baking dish. Place bread in prepared baking dish. Sprinkle w cheese. Combine evaporated milk / regular milk, eggs, dry mustard, onion powder and pepper in bowl. Pour evenly over bread and cheese. Sprinkle w sausage.

COVER - REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT

Next day preheat oven 325 F
Bake for 55 min to 60 mins or until cheese golden. ((Cover with foil if top brown too quickly))
