Coffee Cake (Overnight)
Ingredients:
Cake
2/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup buttermilk
Topping
½ cup chopped nuts
¾ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 teaspoons flour
2 teaspoons margarine or butter, melted
Directions:
Grease shortening and flour a 9X13 baking pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture along with buttermilk. Pour half of mixture into pan. Mix topping sprinkle half of topping on batter. Pour remaining batter over topping. Top with remaining topping. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
Make sure toothpick stick comes out clean.
